On ad hoc basic we are looking for Expediters in Germany.
Tasks:
- Review the PO and have a complete understanding of aspects affecting
delivery,
- Review manufacturer production schedule
- To monitor suppliers progress by phone /e-mail and to ensure that the
material and equipment specified in POs are delivered on the agreed
contractual delivery time
- To take the appropriate action with the supplier in the event of critical delay.
- Follow-up on execution of Kick of Meetings and Pre-Inspection Meetings
- Follow-up for timely submission by client's suppliers
- Expedite status of sub-orders for major materials and contact sub-suppliers
- To liaise closely with the Project Coordinator to ensure the most cost-
effective use of their time.
- To act as the client's primary representative on all aspects of order
expediting.
- To produce accurate records on the progress at suppliers' facility.
- To monitor the performance of the supplier's subcontractors and advise on
any need to assist the supplier to expedite primary subcontractors or those
providing critical items.
